Squires Kitchen Essentials Gum Tragacanth (also known as gum trag) is a natural product that adds strength and pliability to sugar products.
Gum tragacanth is a high-quality ingredient derived from the Astralagus Gummifer tree and can be added to modelling paste, flower paste and pastillage recipes where strength is essential. The addition of gum tragacanth allows you to roll out sugar pastes finely and helps models to hold their shape.
