This plain Sponge Cake Mix is not only gluten free but free from milk and peanut making it ideal for those on a free-from diet. Using only two additional ingredients this cake mix makes deliciously light cakes for any occasion that the whole family will love - they’ll never guess it’s gluten free!
In just a few steps, and with only eggs and oil, this Sponge Mix will make 1 x 7" shallow layer cake or 12 cupcakes. Can be adapted to make a vegan cake using the recipe swaps suggested on the Freee website.
Ingredients: sugar, rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, maize flour, buckwheat flour, raising agents (mono-calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate), thickener (xanthan gum). Allergy advice: free from gluten, milk and peanut.
Storage: once opened store in cool dry place away from sunlight.

Not sure when to order? Ideally, place your order a week before you need to use the goods - even though most 'Express' orders arrive within just 1 or 2 working days, allow extra time if you can! Our cakes have a five week shelf life from baking and won't suffer if they arrive a few days before you plan to start decorating - they'll usually have at least 3 or 4 weeks shelf life remaining when you receive them. If you have a particular day you'd prefer delivery, use the 'comment' box at checkout to let us know, but bear in mind we never 100% guarantee delivery on a specific day
